Israeli airstrike near Damascus kills two civilians, injures three

KATHMANDU: The Syrian Ministry of Defense has reported that two civilians were killed and three others injured in an Israeli airstrike near the Syrian capital, Damascus, on Monday.

The strike targeted a vehicle near the Golden Mazzeh Hotel in the eastern part of the Mazzeh neighborhood, causing damage to nearby property.

The Israeli side has not yet commented on the attack.

Israeli military strikes in Syria have been increasing in recent times.
