KATHMANDU: Nepal completed a clean sweep against the United States in the three-match T20I series.

On Monday, Nepal secured victory in the third and final game, defeating the U.S. and completing the series sweep.

In Monday’s match, held in Dallas, U.S., the United States won the toss and opted to bat first.

They scored 156 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, setting Nepal a target of 157 runs. Nepal chased down the target in 18.4 overs.

For the U.S., Sai Teja Mukkamalla top-scored with 68 runs, Milind Kumar contributed 43, and Aaron Jones added 13 runs.

However, other batters failed to reach double digits. On the bowling front for Nepal, Sompal Kami took 3 wickets, while Rijan Dhakal and Lalit Rajbanshi claimed 1 wicket each.

Nepal had already won the previous two matches.

In the first game, they defeated the U.S. by 17 runs, and in the second game, they secured victory in a thrilling Super Over finish.
