Relief materials to be distributed in coordination of all three levels: Chief Minister Lama

PATAN (Lalitpur): The Chief Minister of Bagmati State, Bahadur Singh Lama, has said that relief distribution will be made effective in coordination with federal, state and local levels.

Accepting the memorandum submitted by the Nepali Congress Lalitpur District Constituency-2 Committee demanding to address the damage caused by the flood and subsequent relief, restoration, reconstruction, he said today that he will work by making a procedure for the relief management.

“Rs 2 million and 1.5 million have been immediately provided to the municipalities for relief, we have provided Rs 100 thousand to the families of the deceased through the district administration office”, he said.

According to the Chief Minister, funds have been sent to the district administration office managing Rs 500 thousand for 13 districts for relief and rescue. “Chief Minister Lama said that after receiving the details of human loss and physical damage from all the districts, the government will provide the necessary assistance according to the received and verified data.

On that occasion, Nepali Congress leaders and cadres of Lalitpur district were present.
