Speaking about the rise in tourism, local entrepreneur and hotel owner Suman Gurung said, “We’ve seen a tremendous increase in visitors after the pandemic. People are looking for peaceful, less crowded destinations with rich culture, and Bandipur offers just that.”
Besides its natural beauty, Bandipur is celebrated for its festivals and traditional Newari culture. Visitors can enjoy authentic local cuisine, traditional music, and dances during the many festivals celebrated throughout the year.
In addition to cultural experiences, tourists are also drawn to Bandipur for adventure sports such as paragliding, hiking, and caving. The Siddha Gufa, one of the largest caves in Nepal, has become a popular spot for explorers.
