KATHMANDU: Following the arrest of Rabi Lamichhane, the President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), the Kaski administration has declared two areas in Pokhara as prohibited zones.

Bharatmani Pandey, the chief district officer of Kaski, announced that these restricted areas will be in effect from 11:45 AM until further notice.

The prohibited zones include the area around Shahid Chowk and the surroundings of Gaighrapatan.

Specifically, the area around Shahid Chowk is restricted from the east at Wai Chowk, west at Fishtail Chowk, north at the Land Revenue Office, and south at Mustang Chowk.

Similarly, the Gaighrapatan area encompasses the road from Palikhechowk to Nawil Secondary School.
