Assassination attempt on Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu

KATHMANDU: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence has been targeted in a drone attack.

Netanyahu has accused Hezbollah of attempting to assassinate him through the drone strike, warning that they will pay a heavy price for the attempt.

The drone strike occurred near his home in the coastal city of Caesarea on Saturday, with the attack reportedly coming from Lebanon.

The Israeli military stated that Lebanon launched 55 drones, three of which entered Israeli airspace.

One of those drones crashed into a building in Caesarea. However, Netanyahu was not at his Caesarea residence at the time.

Netanyahu stated that Hezbollah made a grave mistake by attempting to assassinate him.

Following the attack from Lebanon, Israel has continued retaliatory strikes in the area.
