Arrest warrant issued against Rabi Lamichhane

KATHMANDU: An arrest warrant has been issued against Ravi Lamichhane, the President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), in connection with allegations of embezzlement involving funds from Surya Darshan Cooperative.

According to a senior official at the Police Headquarters, the Kaski District Court has granted permission for Lamichhane’s arrest for investigation purposes.

Following the court’s approval, police are preparing to apprehend Lamichhane in Kathmandu and transport him to Kaski.

The District Police Office in Kaski is currently investigating a case alleging that funds from Surya Darshan Cooperative were misappropriated and funneled into the Gorakha Media Network.
