Driver dies in tipper truck accident

KATHMANDU: An accident occurred in Jumlepani, Bangalachuli Rural Municipality-4, Dang, last night, resulting in the death of the driver.

According to Ishwar Thapa, spokesperson for the District Police Office Dang, the victim has been identified as Prabhu Chaudhary, approximately 29 years old, a resident of Gadhwa Rural Municipality-7.

The accident involved a tipper truck with the registration number Ra 1 Kha 1857, which fell approximately 80 meters down the road while heading from Ghorahi towards Tapa.

The police reported that the vehicle lost control before the fatal plunge.
