KATHMANDU: A meeting of opposition parties has concluded that the government led by CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has been unsuccessful.

The meeting, held on Friday in New Baneshwor, reached this resolution following discussions on various issues.

According to Rajendra Lingden, Chair of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), the meeting highlighted serious shortcomings in governance. He also mentioned that a memorandum will be submitted to the government regarding current issues on Sunday.

The meeting criticized the government for its irresponsible handling of relief and rescue efforts for flood and landslide victims. It was also noted that the government has failed in matters of good governance and has been accused of fostering corruption.

Leaders from various parties, including the CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), RPP, CPN (Unified Socialist), Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP), and Aam Janata Party, were present at the meeting.
