KATHMANDU: In a recent meeting of opposition parties led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, the chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre), serious allegations were raised against the government for its attempt to introduce an ordinance aimed at splitting political parties.

The opposition parties concluded that the government’s move to bring forth such an ordinance threatens the unity of political factions, prompting them to call for a unified response against these actions.

During the meeting, Prachanda criticized the approach of the government led by KP Oli, asserting that the opposition should not remain silent in the face of these issues.

All parties present agreed on the need to stand united against the government’s erroneous steps moving forward.
