EBL marks 30th anniversary with various celebratory programs
As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the bank also announced various new initiatives.
KATHMANDU: Everest Bank Limited celebrated its 30th anniversary with great enthusiasm on Oct 17.
On this special occasion, the bank organized a blood donation program at its head office in Lainchaur, and awarded long-serving employees with long-service medals and appreciation certificates.
As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the bank also announced various new initiatives.
Over the years, the bank has been actively involved in supporting education, healthcare, disaster relief, environmental protection, and cultural promotion under its CSR programs.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary, the bank donated Rs 10 million towards the construction of the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health Hospital.
The donation was presented by the Chair of Everest Bank’s Board of Directors, Mr. Balgopal Baidya, and the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sudesh Khaling, to the hospital’s Chair, Professor Dr. Bhagawan Koirala.
The bank believes that this contribution will further support the hospital’s construction and help provide affordable and quality healthcare services to children.
As part of its CSR, Everest Bank also organized a blood donation event in collaboration with Nepal Red Cross Society, Baghbazar, Kathmandu.
A total of 48 employees from the bank participated in the event by donating blood.
