Top Leaders of three major parties gather at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: A meeting between top leaders of three major political parties, including Prime Minister and Chair of the CPN (UML), KP Sharma Oli, has commenced at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.
The meeting is attended by Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, opposition leader and Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Maoist Centre Deputy Secretary General Shakti Bahadur Basnet, and Attorney General Ramesh Badal.
Discussions are expected to focus on issues related to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Commission for the Investigation of Enforced Disappearances, with the aim of concluding the peace process.
