Gold prices hit new record high

KATHMANDU: Gold prices have set a new record once again. As of Thursday, the price of hallmarked gold has reached Rs 162,400 per tola, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

This is the highest price recorded to date.

In comparison, the price on Wednesday was Rs 161,800 per tola.

Silver prices, on the other hand, remain stable.

Today, silver is being traded at Rs 1,950, the same price it held on Wednesday.
