KATHMANDU: As of Oct 16, the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund has received a total of Rs 1,744,727,634.

The contributions to the fund include both institutional and individual donations.

Notably, ten organized institutions, including Vidyadhar Mallik, have made significant contributions.

Among these, Salt Trading Corporation has donated Rs 6.1 million, the Non-Resident Nepali Organization (NRN) has provided Rs 5.1 million, and the National News Agency has contributed Rs 326,038 to the relief fund.

Other organizations contributing to the fund include the Nepal Police Wives’ Association, Nepal Insurance Company, and the Electricity Generation Company, among others.
