Priced at an introductory Rs. 33.99 lakh, the electric vehicle exceeded the company’s expectations.
KATHMANDU: The Tata Punch EV, which launched at this year’s NADA Auto Show with 475 bookings, has seen impressive deliveries of 377 units during the Dashain festival.
Priced at an introductory Rs. 33.99 lakh, the electric vehicle exceeded the company’s expectations, according to Sawant Jung Sijapati, Head of Passenger Vehicle Business Unit at Sipradi Trading.
Sijapati mentioned that even the base variant of the Punch EV offers a sunroof and is well-suited to Nepal’s roads, which has contributed to its growing popularity in the market.
In addition to the Punch EV, Tata’s Tiago EV, launched at last year’s NADA Auto Show, remains the top-selling model in the budget segment.
This Dashain, 156 units of the Tiago EV were delivered.
The Tiago EV has become a favorite, particularly among women and first-time car buyers, further contributing to its successful deliveries.
Tata’s Tigor EV saw the delivery of 10 units, and 52 units of its internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles were also handed over during the festival.
Additionally, the Express-T saw 156 deliveries, making a total of 751 Tata cars delivered by Sipradi during Dashain.
To further celebrate the festival, Sipradi announced free charging at Tata Motors’ Fast DC Charging Stations throughout Dashain for customers.
Tata Motors has also ensured that its service centers across the country will provide emergency services during the holiday.
Two centers, located in Baghdol and Gongabu, will remain open, offering servicing and charging for both passenger vehicles and taxis, while other service centers will provide breakdown services.
Customers requiring roadside assistance can contact the hotline at 16600155777 or 9801575777.
However, free charging will not be applicable for Express-T models.
Sipradi currently operates over 185 charging stations and 16 service centers across Nepal.
