KATHMANDU: A large crowd gathered at Kathmandu’s Bhadrakali Temple today as vehicle owners performed special rituals in celebration of Maha Navami, part of the ongoing Bada Dashain festival.
On this occasion, people believe that worshipping their vehicles will ensure they remain in good condition and provide reliable service throughout the year.
Starting from early morning, devotees flocked to the temple to seek blessings for their cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles, hoping for longevity and prosperity.
The tradition of vehicle worship on Maha Navami has long been followed with the belief that it brings good fortune and durability to one’s means of transportation.
