Dashain feast begins at hotel Barahi: What are the prices?
The menu includes a variety of meat dishes such as bhutuwa and sekuwa, traditional sel roti, pickles, bara, and other special Dashain dishes.
KATHMANDU: Barahi Group, a well-established brand in Nepal’s chain hospitality sector, has kicked off its Dashain feast at two of its hotels: Hotel Barahi Pokhara and Hotel Barahi Kathmandu.
According to Yogendra Thapa, the Corporate Director of Barahi Group, the feast, aimed at serving traditional Dashain delicacies, will be held from Oct 10 to 12 (Ashwin 24 to 26).
The menu includes a variety of meat dishes such as bhutuwa and sekuwa, traditional sel roti, pickles, bara, and other special Dashain dishes.
In Kathmandu, the dinner set menu will be available from 5:30 PM onwards, while in Pokhara, the buffet lunch will be served from 12:30 PM to 3 PM.
The price per set in Pokhara is set at Rs 2,000, while in Kathmandu, the vegetarian set costs Rs 1,800 and the non-vegetarian set is priced at Rs 2,000.
Thapa mentioned that the Dashain feast is being organized to cater to locals who want to celebrate outside their homes as well as to tourists.
Barahi Group operates several properties, including a luxury eco-friendly resort in Meghauli, Chitwan; the four-star Hotel Barahi Kathmandu; and the four-star Hotel Barahi Pokhara.
Additionally, they run Sarangkot Mountain Lodge, Aawas Pokhara, The Beach and Bar, and Byanjan Restaurant.
A five-star Hotel Barahi is also under construction in Sedi, Pokhara.
