Gold price drops by Rs 1,000, significant decline in silver as well

KATHMANDU: On Wednesday, the price of gold saw a decline, with the price of Chhapawal gold dropping by Rs 1,000, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The new price of hallmark gold now stands at Rs 159,100 per tola.

On Tuesday, the price was Rs 160,100 per tola. Today, silver prices also experienced a significant drop.

The price of silver, which was Rs 1,940 per tola on Tuesday, has decreased by Rs 40, bringing it down to Rs 1,900 per tola.
