Monsoon gradually weakening
Currently, the weather is partly to generally cloudy in Koshi State and mainly fair in the rest of the country.
KATHMANDU: The monsoon winds are affecting the eastern parts of Madhesh and Bagmati States including Koshi State, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said.
Similarly, the westerly wind is affecting the western parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim, Madhesh and Bagmati States.
Currently, the weather is partly to generally cloudy in Koshi State and mainly fair in the rest of the country.
According to the Meteorological Bulletin issued by the Department at 6:00 a.m. today, light rain is occurring at one or two places in Koshi State.
The Department shared that this afternoon, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the country, including Koshi and Madhesh States, and fair in the rest of the country.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of Koshi province and one or two places of rest of the States.
As informed, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki States tonight.
There will be light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places of the hilly regions of the rest of the States including Koshi State and Madhesh State.
In the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of Koshi State and one or two places of rest of the States.
