Activists Punya Gautam brutally attacked

KATHMANDU: Activists Punya Gautam was brutally assaulted on Monday evening in front of his residence.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Nawaraj Adhikari of the Kathmandu District Police Office, an unidentified individual attacked Gautam, leaving him seriously injured.

Gautam is currently receiving treatment at Nepal Medical College in Attarkhel.

He has sustained head injuries from the attack.

Police are investigating the incident to identify and apprehend the assailant.
