KATHMANDU: Nepal has triumphed over Canada’s second-choice team, High Performance (HP), in their third practice match, winning by 10 runs.

Chasing a target of 188 runs, Canada was bowled out for 177 runs in 44.5 overs.

Ali Nadim was the standout performer for Canada, scoring 85 runs off 116 balls, which included seven fours and three sixes.

For Nepal, fast bowler Karan KC was the star of the match, taking five wickets for 55 runs in 9.5 overs.

Sagar Dhakal contributed with two wickets, while Aarif Sheikh, Rijan Dhakal, and Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi each took one wicket.

Earlier, Nepal won the toss and chose to bat first, getting all out for 187 runs in 48.3 overs.

Kushal Bhurtel was the top scorer for Nepal, hitting 52 runs off 70 balls, including five fours.

Aarif Sheikh added 40 runs from 39 balls with three fours and two sixes.
