Bus accident on Madan Bhandari Highway claims 2 lives

KATHMANDU: A passenger bus traveling from Kathmandu to Bhojpur met with an accident today at Bhalkhada, located in Hariharpurgarhi Rural Municipality-5, Mahendrajhyadi, along the Madan Bhandari Highway in Sindhuli.

The incident reportedly occurred around 3 p.m.

According to Govindraj Kafle, Superintendent of Police at the Sindhuli District Police Office, two individuals lost their lives at the scene of the crash.

The bus, with registration number 01006 B 6785 of Bagmati State, was involved in the fatal accident.

Authorities mentioned that further details are still awaited.
