Accident in Morang takes life of 27-year-old man

KATHMANDU: In an incident on Sunday afternoon, a motorcycle (license plate number: Pr 1-02-054 Pa 9202) was hit by a truck (license plate number: Pr 1-02-001 Ka 3713) on the road at Gokuwachok, Budhiganga Rural Municipality-4, Morang.

The collision resulted in the death of 27-year-old Chandrabahadur Tamang, a resident of Sankhuwasabha.

Tamang sustained serious injuries from the accident and was rushed to Birat Teaching Hospital in Gangachowk for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities are currently searching for the truck driver, who has fled the scene.

The police have initiated an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
