Demonstrations in Baghdad against the Israeli invasion

KATHMANDU: Hundreds of Iraqis demonstrated in Baghdad against Israeli military activities in Palestine and Lebanon, as well as Israel’s assassination of Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah.

Demonstrators waved Iraqi, Palestinian, and Lebanese flags, as well as photographs of Nasrallah.

In sympathy with Lebanon and Palestine, he raised anti-Israel and anti-American chants.

Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s leader for more than three decades, was killed in an Israeli attack on Sept 27.
