JUMLA: The ward offices of Tila Rural Municipality have distributed salt in subsidized rates to the local residents.

Chair of Tila Rural Municipality, Motilal Rokaya, said the Salt Trading Corporation has supplied salt to the local level at the rate of five kg per person.
This has been distributed to the households registered in the respective ward.
As a result, there shall be no shortage of salt this Dashain festival, Rokaya said.
Meanwhile, Chief of Salt Trading Corporation, Nagendra Thapa said that salt is now being supplies to all municipalities and shared that there is 1,160 quintals of salt in the STC warehouse in Khalanga.
For the current financial year, a quota of 1000 quintals for Narakot and Goruchaur depots and 4000 quintals for the headquarters Khalanga depot has been set.
