Motorcyclist killed, one injured in microbus collision

KATHMANDU: A motorcycle rider has died after being hit by a microbus in Sunwal Municipality-7, Jyamire, West Nawalparasi. Another passenger on the motorcycle sustained injuries.

According to the police, the accident occurred at Jyamire Chowk along the East-West Highway when a microbus (registration number Lu 1 Kha 8453) traveling from Butwal to Bardaghat collided with a motorcycle (registration number Lu 79 Pa 9140).

The injured motorcyclist, 32-year-old Rishi Lamtri of Tilottama, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Bhulahi Medical College.

Vivek Gurung, another individual involved in the accident, was injured.
