KATHMANDU: Tottenham Hotspur striker Dominic Solanke has been included in the England squad after seven years.

Interim coach Lee Carsley selected him on Friday for next week’s Nations League matches against Greece and Finland.

Solanke made his debut for England in 2017 during a friendly match against Brazil.

He has scored in Tottenham’s last three games.

In August, he transferred from Bournemouth to Tottenham for £65 million ($85.25 million).

Solanke was unavailable for Carsley’s first squad due to injury. However, since then, he has been in good form. “I have worked with him in the past. He was very close to being in the final squad. He got injured just before the selection,” said coach Carsley.
