Monsoon winds persist: Today’s weather conditions across regions

KATHMANDU: The Department of Meteorology has reported that monsoon winds continue to influence weather across the country.

In particular, the eastern and central regions of Nepal are being slightly affected by a low-pressure system formed around northern Bangladesh and West Bengal, India.

Currently, light to moderate cloud cover is observed in some eastern parts of Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati States.

Other hilly regions are experiencing partial to normal cloud cover, while the rest of the country has mainly clear weather.

Light rainfall is ongoing in a few areas of Koshi State.
