Sudurpaschim Royals appoints Prakash Khadka as CEO

KATHMANDU: Sudurpaschim Royals, a team in the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL), has appointed Prakash Khadka as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Khadka has been actively involved in cricket management for a long time.
He served as the director of the Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL) for ten years, contributing significantly to domestic cricket in Nepal.
His leadership and extensive experience are expected to take Sudurpaschim Royals to new heights.
The team will be participating in the Nepal Super League (NSL), scheduled for November.
Expressing his delight at joining the team, CEO Khadka stated, “Sudurpaschim is a fertile land for cricket talent, and I feel honored to be part of a team that represents this region. Our focus will be on further strengthening the squad on the field. With Dipendra Singh Airee as our marquee player and Jagat Tamatta as the head coach, we are in a strong position.”
Team owner Shah added, “Prakash Khadka brings with him valuable experience from his time managing the Dhangadhi Premier League. We believe his presence will streamline the management of our team.”
Earlier on Thursday, the team also appointed Olympian Deepak Bista as its brand ambassador.
Sudurpaschim Royals’ marquee player is national cricket star Dipendra Singh Airee, with Jagat Tamatta serving as the head coach.
