Bus & jeep collide in Basantapur, Terhathum; no human casualties reported (photos)

KATHMANDU: A vehicle accident occurred in Basantapur, Terhathum.

A bus travelling from Dharan to Mahavir and a jeep collided in Basantapur.

The bus was en route from Dharan, passing through Dhankuta, Basantapur, Mude, and Tellok before heading to Mahavir.

The jeep, traveling in the opposite direction, crashed into the moving bus, according to the police.

Inspector Pramod Khadka of Terhathum Police informed Makalu Khabar that there were no human casualties in the accident.

However, both the bus and the jeep sustained damage, with their windows shattered.

The incident is currently under investigation, Inspector Khadka added.
