KATHMANDU: The former King of Nepal, Gyanendra Shah, has reached in Bhutan on a private family visit.

He was given a grand welcome upon his arrival in the neighbouring country.

A red carpet was rolled out to greet the former monarch at Paro International Airport.

Bhutanese Princess Pema Lhaden Wangchuck personally welcomed King Gyanendra at the airport, marking the beginning of his visit.
