Son held for murdering father

KATHMANDU: A 32-year-old Suman Okhrabu Limbu, resident of Taplejung, Meringden Rural Municipality-1 Okhrabu, was arrested on Thursday morning on the charge of killing his own father Shyam Okhrabu Limbu, 55, by hitting him with a sharp weapon.

As soon as Suman received the news that Shyam Okhrabu died on the spot when he hit the bamphok during a domestic dispute, the police stationed at Santakra police station arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
