Laxmi Motor Corporation launches production of Hyundai Venue E variant in Nepal
The company had previously started producing the Venue S and SX variants in May 2024.
KATHMANDU: Laxmi Motor Corporation, the manufacturer of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has officially commenced production of the Venue E variant.
The company had previously started producing the Venue S and SX variants in May 2024.
Laxmi Motor Corporation operates as a subsidiary of Laxmi Intercontinental, the official dealer of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal.
With the initiation of commercial production of the Hyundai Venue in Nepal, the company also launched the “HYUNDAI NEPAL: MADE FOR YOUR JOURNEY” campaign. To date, approximately 250 vehicles have been sold through its dealers. The introductory price for the Hyundai Venue E is set at Rs 4,096,000 for a limited time.
However, the company has indicated that there will be no current discounts in conjunction with the ongoing Dashain-Tihar promotional campaign.
Currently, the prices for other available Venue variants are Rs 4,496,000 for the Venue (S) 1.2 and Rs 5,356,000 for the Venue (SX) 1.2.
The company has also announced a 10-year free servicing offer and a 3-year warranty for the locally manufactured Hyundai Venue.
Established through investment from the Laxmi Group and technical collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company, Laxmi Motor Corporation aims to contribute to the country’s industrialization, import substitution, job creation, revenue enhancement, skill and technology development, establishment of ancillary industries, domestic resource and electricity consumption, and overall gross domestic product.
The company also strives to provide vehicles to consumers at affordable prices.
Laxmi Motor Corporation has expressed plans to increase production of additional variants and other models in the future.
