KATHMANDU: Lionel Messi scored two goals in first-half injury time, leading Inter Miami to their first-ever Supporters’ Shield victory in franchise history.
In the match held on Thursday morning, Miami defeated Columbus Crew 3–2.
Luis Suárez also contributed with a goal for Miami’s win.
This is Messi’s 46th trophy for both club and country.
It marks his second title with Inter Miami.
