PM Oli vows immediate compensation for farmers based on their losses

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that assessment teams will be immediately dispatched to provide compensation based on the damages caused.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday to address the destruction caused by floods, landslides, and inundation due to heavy rainfall on Sept 27 and 28, Prime Minister Oli made this statement.

“We will provide relief, carry out rescue operations, and assist in housing reconstruction,” he said.

He also mentioned that buses have been sent to bring back stranded passengers from Roshi River.
