NOC reduces fuel prices ahead of festival

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced fuel prices, effective from today, as the festive season approaches.

According to the corporation, the prices of petrol, diesel, aviation fuel, and kerosene have been decreased.

Petrol has been reduced by Rs 1 per liter, diesel by Rs 2, domestic aviation fuel by Rs 6, international aviation fuel by Rs 45 per 1,000 liters, and kerosene by Rs 2 per liter.

Despite the price of LPG gas increasing by Rs 41 from India, the corporation has decided to keep it unchanged, focusing on the festive season.

With the reduction in fuel prices, it is believed that consumers will feel some relief during the festive period.

The corporation has also assured that there will be no issues with fuel supply during the festivals.
