Airlines to maintain max fare until roads are restored
This policy will remain in effect until the road network is operational again.
KATHMANDU: The Airline Operators Association of Nepal has announced that airlines will not charge maximum fares until the road network is restored following disruptions caused by flooding and landslides.
In a press release issued on Monday, the association stated that this decision was made with the welfare of the public in mind during this time of disaster.
This policy will remain in effect until the road network is operational again.
Previously, on Sunday, the association had also announced a similar decision, stating that for three days (from Monday to Wednesday), tickets would not be sold at maximum prices.
However, the association reiterated this decision in a new press release today, signed by its Chair, Manoj Karki, confirming that the airlines will maintain the policy of not charging maximum fares until the road network is restored.
