One held in rape charges

KATHMANDU: A 28-year-old Suman Darlami Magar, a resident of Jhapa, Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-1 Bhotetar, was arrested by the police on Sunday afternoon on charges of raping a 22-year-old woman.

Based on the complaint that Suman raped the woman on Friday night, the police stationed from the local police office on Wednesday arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
