KATHMANDU: Continuous heavy rainfall has caused floods, landslides, and inundation, leading to the deaths of 192 people, with 30 still missing.

According to Home Ministry spokesperson Rishiram Tiwari, 194 people have been injured due to these natural disasters.

He reported that all security agencies have been mobilized for search, rescue, and relief operations, rescuing over 4,500 disaster-affected individuals so far.

Emergency relief materials, including food, have been provided to those impacted by the floods and landslides, and the injured are receiving free medical treatment.

The government has prioritized search, rescue, and relief efforts.

Spokesperson Tiwari also mentioned that efforts are underway to reopen highways obstructed by the disaster.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has stated that reports of human and physical damage are still being received.
