Gold prices drop in Nepal’s market on Sunday

KATHMANDU: In the Nepali market, gold prices have decreased on the first day of the week, marking a decline after a week of continuous record-high prices.

As of Sunday, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 600 per tola, with the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reporting the current rate at Rs 160,600 per tola.

This is a decrease from Friday’s price, which was Rs 161,200 per tola for hallmark gold.

Additionally, silver prices have also seen a slight decline, falling by Rs 10 to trade at Rs 1,945 per tola.
