KATHMANDU: Barcelona’s unbeaten run in La Liga finally came to an end.

On Saturday night, Barcelona was defeated 4-2 by Osasuna.

This loss marked the end of Barcelona’s unbeaten streak after eight matches in the league.

Despite the loss, Barcelona remains at the top of the table with 21 points, while Real Madrid, with a game in hand, is four points behind. Osasuna, with this victory, has climbed to sixth place with 14 points from eight matches.

Osasuna took an early lead in the 18th minute when Ante Budimir scored from a cross by Bryan Zaragoza.

Just 10 minutes later, Bryan himself doubled the lead. In the 53rd minute, Pau Víctor scored for Barcelona, trying to bring his team back into the game.

However, in the 72nd minute, Budimir struck again, making it 3-1 for Osasuna.

Although Lamine Yamal scored for Barcelona in the 89th minute, it wasn’t enough to prevent their defeat.
