Gold prices soar to record high in Nepal, reaching Rs 161,200 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has reached a record high.

After continuously rising for the past five days, the price of gold reached a new record today (Friday).

On this day, the price of gold increased by Rs 500 per tola, reaching Rs 161,200 per tola, marking the highest price in history.

The previous day, the price of hallmark gold stood at Rs 160,700 per tola.

However, the price of silver remains stable at Rs 1,955 per tola.

Today, the price of 10 grams of hallmark gold is set at Rs 138,205.
