Wild waps sting leaves 4 students injured

KATHMANDU: Four students in Besishahar Municipality-3 have been injured after being stung by an Aaringal (wild bee) while on their way to school.

The incident occurred this morning near Damfuhouse as the students were heading to school.

According to Inspector Tul Bahadur Shrestha from the District Police Office, the injured students are 13-year-old Rina Gurung, 12-year-old Arjuna Tamang, 13-year-old Sangita Tamang, and 10-year-old Karuna Gurung, all from Bakhragunj of Besishahar-5.

The wild bee unexpectedly stung them on various parts of their bodies, including their heads and limbs.

All the injured students have been rescued and are receiving treatment at Lamjung Hospital, Inspector Shrestha confirmed.

The police noted that the route from their homes to the school passes through a jungle area.
