Rain forces cancellation of Nepal vs Oman match

KATHMANDU: Due to continuous rain, the World Cup League 2 triangular ODI series match between Nepal and Oman has been canceled.

The match was scheduled to take place at 8:45 PM Nepali time on Tuesday at the King City Cricket Ground in Canada.

However, persistent rain prevented the match from taking place.

Nepal, which is under pressure due to a series of losses, earned 1 point after the cancellation of the match against Oman. Oman also received 1 point.

In the League 2 points table, Nepal is in second to last place with 3 points from 8 games, while Oman is in sixth place with 6 points from 7 games.

After the ODI series, Nepal will play a triangular T20I series involving Canada and Oman.
