CIB team in Pokhara to review Surya Darshan Cooperative’s files

KATHMANDU: A team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has been dispatched to Pokhara to investigate the embezzlement of a cooperative.

Two senior officials from CIB have traveled to Pokhara to conduct an inquiry into Surya Darshan Cooperative.

On Tuesday, CIB sent two officials to Pokhara to assist in the investigation of the cooperative.

The team has been deployed to support the investigators reviewing Surya Darshan’s files.

Former DIG Chhabilal Joshi has been arrested, and the Kaski District Police Office is conducting a second phase of the investigation into the embezzlement of funds from Surya Darshan Cooperative.
