KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market have surged to a record high, continuing an upward trend for the past three days.

As of today (Tuesday), the price of gold has increased by 500 rupees, reaching 159,700 rupees per tola.

This marks the highest price recorded to date, surpassing the previous day’s rate of 159,200 rupees per tola for hallmark gold.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of silver has decreased on the same day.

Silver is currently trading at 1,915 rupees per tola, reflecting a reduction of 5 rupees.
