Bus traveling from Kathmandu to Rajasthan crashes in Nawalpur

KATHMANDU:A passenger bus accident occurred in Binayi Triveni, Nawalpur, along the East-West Highway, injuring 23 people.

The bus, en route from Kathmandu to Rajasthan, India, crashed near Binayi River in Binayi Triveni-1.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bed Bahadur Paudel of the District Police Office, the bus with registration number RJ 14 PC 3545 overturned after losing control this morning.

The accident left 23 passengers injured.

The bus was carrying around 45 passengers, with the remaining passengers unharmed, DSP Paudel confirmed.

The injured are currently receiving treatment at the local Binayi Triveni Basic Hospital.
