ECAN to host 15th Grand Educational Fair 2024 in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) is continuing its tradition of organizing grand educational fairs, as it gears up to host the 15th edition of the ECAN Educational Fair 2024 with great enthusiasm.

Scheduled for Sept 29, this one-day event will take place at the Everest Hotel in Kathmandu, from 10 AM to 5 PM, according to ECAN.

The primary objective of this fair is to provide accurate information and counseling on international education to students, parents, and other stakeholders.

ECAN expects that over 15,000 students and parents will attend the event. Embassies and diplomatic missions from various countries have also been invited to participate.

ECAN has confirmed that education consultants from its member organizations, representatives from both domestic and foreign educational institutions, and official representatives from colleges and universities from countries such as India, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Japan, France, the USA, the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Finland, Malaysia, Germany, Denmark, and others will take part in the fair.

The main goal of this event is to provide sufficient information on both domestic and foreign education systems, future prospects of earned qualifications, and opportunities.

The fair will serve as a platform to offer counseling services, enabling Nepali students to gain access to quality education and scholarships from various domestic and foreign institutions and universities.

The fair is being managed by One Up Pvt. Ltd., with Real Dreams Educational Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. as the Title Sponsor. Ved International Education Pvt. Ltd. is the ‘In Association’ partner, while sponsors include KIEC Pvt. Ltd., Orbit International Education Pvt. Ltd., Grace International Pvt. Ltd., Nobel Education Foundation Pvt. Ltd., and Wide Range International Pvt. Ltd. The British Council is an IELTS partner for the event.

Notably, this is the first educational fair organized by ECAN since the COVID-19 pandemic, adding special significance to the occasion. The fair has received official approval from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology.

According to ECAN, this educational fair will serve as an important platform for students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. The event will provide detailed information on various international educational institutions, their systems, curricula, admission processes, and globally recognized degrees.

Additionally, students will have access to direct counseling on qualifications, documentation, visa processes, and scholarship opportunities required for studying abroad.

Students participating in the fair will have the opportunity to interact directly with representatives from various countries, helping them make more informed and clear decisions about their education and career plans.

Most of the stalls for the event, featuring various educational consultants, have already been booked. ECAN has encouraged all stakeholders to confirm their participation as soon as possible.
