Durga Prasai falls ill after arrest, admitted to Bir Hospital

KATHMANDU: Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai, who was arrested on Sunday, has fallen ill shortly after being taken into custody.

Following his sudden illness, Prasai was admitted to Bir Hospital.

According to the police, he was suffering from high blood pressure and other health complications, which required immediate medical attention.

Prasai was arrested on charges related to cybercrime.

The Kathmandu District Court has granted police permission to hold him in custody for three days for further investigation.
