Clash erupts between cooperative victims & Rabi supporters in Pokhara

KATHMANDU: In Pokhara, a confrontation occurred between victims of a cooperative fraud and supporters of Rabi Lamichhane, the chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
The clash arose during a demonstration by cooperative victims demanding the arrest of Lamichhane, who has been implicated in the cooperative scam.
The incident took place in front of the District Administration Office in Kaski, where victims of the Surya Darshan Cooperative confronted Lamichhane’s supporters.
While the cooperative victims were protesting for his arrest, RSP supporters rallied against this demand, insisting that he should not be detained.
The RSP supporters held a separate protest at Shahid Chowk in Pokhara, while the cooperative victims demonstrated in front of the nearby administration office, highlighting the rising tensions surrounding the issue.
